- Reflecting core component-related information in the submission documentation scope by introducing a specification management number and an identification number for the drive battery in the vehicle manufacturing certificate.
2. Proposed Amendment to the Rules on the Performance and Standards of Automobiles and Automobile Parts
- Reflecting safety standards for core components to implement safety certification for these components.
3. Proposed Amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Motor Vehicle Management Act
- Establishing standards and procedures for obtaining modification certification when making significant changes to the safety-certified aspects of core components.
- Regulating the methods for indicating safety-certified aspects of core components.
- Specifying the designation of testing agencies, verification of testing facilities, and criteria for conducting safety performance tests on core components.
- Defining conformity inspection procedures related to the safety certification of core components.
4. Proposed Amendment to the Vehicle Registration Decree
- Reflecting required items, such as the drive battery identification number, in the vehicle registration form in accordance with legal requirements.
- Allowing for the modification registration of items, including the drive battery identification number, if changes occur, by incorporating these items into the change registration requirements.
Opinions will be accepted until December 23, 2024.
