The Japanese government has announced guidelines for promoting the maintenance and expansion of charging infrastructure to encourage the use of electric vehicles (EV).
The Japanese government has announced its goal, through the GrAeen Growth Strategy, to install a total of 150,000 charging infrastructures, including 30,000 fast chargers for electric vehicles by 2030.
Direction of Implementation
1. Enhancement of fast charger high-power output and expansion.
2. Utilizing subsidy programs to expand the installation of regular chargers.
3. Regulation adjustments and the introduction of charging fee structures are planned.
