On December 9, 2024, the Certification and Accreditation Administration of China (CNCA) revealed significant updates to its mandatory product certification standards for wire assemblies.
The newly introduced standard, GB/T 15934-2024, consolidates and revises two older standards, GB/T 15934-2008 and GB/T 26219-2010. These updates aim to streamline compliance and reflect advancements in wire assembly manufacturing and testing.
Key Implementation Date:
The updated standard is set to take effect from October 1, 2025, giving manufacturers and certification bodies ample time to adapt to the changes.
