Samsung Electro-Mechanics supplies automotive cameras to Hyundai and Kia.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics has been recognized for its expertise in the automotive camera sector and has been selected as a primary partner for Hyundai Motor and Kia.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics has expanded its supply to include camera modules, following
its provision of displays, image sensors, and application processors (AP).
Among the cameras supplied to Hyundai and Kia vehicles,
there are two types: Surround View Monitor (SVM) cameras and rear-view monitor cameras.
Samsung Electro-Mechanics plans to expand its revenue in the automotive camera market based on this delivery,
and it is expected that the market for automotive camera modules in Korea will continue to grow in the future.
To sell automotive components in the Korean market, KC certification is mandatory.
