KC Certification Now Required to Sell in Korea via AliExpress

Starting April 2025, AliExpress will enforce KC Certification requirements by blocking the sale of non-certified products in its K-Venue, a marketplace for domestic goods in Korea.

Products without a valid KC Certification number—including electrical and electronic products, household goods, and other regulated items—will no longer be allowed for sale under Korean law.

Since August 2024, AliExpress has required sellers to submit KC Certification documents. After a 7-month grace period, strict enforcement begins to enhance product safety and consumer trust in the Korean market.
